Chiang Mai, Thailand –Tourism Authority of Thailand, Beijing office in China and Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand, Chiang Mai office, Chiang Mai Tourism Business Association, Chiang Mai Guide Association, Thai Hotels Association Northern Chapter and Thai Chinese Business Association of Chiang Mai, recently held a memorable evening event for exclusively invited travel agents and press from Beijing to showcase the Luxury Lanna Wedding Ceremony in order to promote the charming Lanna culture to the wedding and tourist market in Thailand and China.

The demonstration and presentation of Luxury Lanna Wedding Ceremony was arranged and organized by Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai, at its ‘Huen Silp Slah’, the beautiful authentic Thai House. The respective opening speech was made by Khun  Adisorn Kumnurdsiri, Deputy Governor of Chiang Mai province. The showcase reveals every step of the original wedding ceremony from the Kan-Mak procession, the Silver and Golden Gates and the Wrist binding ritual. Kad-Mua (traditional Lanna market) reception, Khan Toke dinner to the release of the famous hot air balloons all perfectly displays the gracefulness of Lanna culture. The impressive night was wholeheartedly organized to promote Lanna wedding destination amongst the wedding and tourist market in both Thailand and China.

BANGKOK’S SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT OPEN AND OPERATING NORMALLY, DON MUEANG AIRPORT CLOSED Issued at Bangkok at 19:30 (GMT+7) on 26 October 2011
	Bangkok is served by two airports. Suvarnabhumi Airport, the main gateway to Thailand with 120 international and domestic airlines, remains open. It is operating normally and handling around 76 flights per hour including all scheduled international arrivals and departures. Suvarnabhumi Airport is also the main connector for international visitor arrivals to transfer to and from domestic flights serving tourist destinations throughout Thailand such as Phuket, Chiang Mai and Surat Thani. All domestic flights are also operating as per usual. Don Mueang Airport, the old international airport located about 30 km northeast of Suvarnabhumi Airport, is closed until November 1st due to flooding. The two domestic airlines operating from Don Mueang, which are Nok Air and Orient Thai Airlines, have temporarily switched their operations to Suvarnabhumi Airport. พระราชญาณกวี ผู้ช่วยเจ้าอาวาส วัดพระราม ๙ กาญจนาภิเษก กล่าวว่า จากปัจจุบันนี้ที่ผู้บริหารทั้งภาครัฐ และภาคเอกชนในหน่วยงานต่างๆ หรือบุคคลทั่วไปมักเผชิญกับปัญหาในระดับต่างๆ จากสภาวะปัจจัยที่รุมเร้าในแต่ละวันมากบ้างน้อยบ้างที่จำเป็นต้องแก้ไขในแต่ละวัน หากไม่รู้จักดำเนินการแก้ไขอย่างถูกวิธี อาจก่อให้เกิดความตึงเครียดในการทำงาน ซึ่งจะส่งผลร้ายต่อสุขภาพทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจในระยะยาว แต่หากได้รับการอบรมด้านสมาธิ หรือมีการปฏิบัติธรรมอยู่เป็นประจำ จะส่งผลให้มีการแก้ไขปัญหาอย่างถูกวิธี พร้อมที่จะสร้างความมั่นคง เจริญรุ่งเรือง และนำมาซึ่งความสงบสุขร่มเย็นให้แก่ตนเอง องค์กร และสังคมโดยรวมได้อย่างแท้จริง ดังนั้นโครงการอบรมจิตตภาวนา ภายใต้ชื่อ “ธุรจิต เพื่อธุรกิจ” จึงเกิดขึ้นเพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้บริหาร และผู้สนใจทั่วไปได้มีโอกาสพักกายใจ ทำบุญ นั่งสมาธิ ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่เงียบสงบ สะดวกสบาย เป็นธรรมชาติ ตลอดจนได้แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ในเชิงธรรมะร่วมกัน เพื่อเป็นแรงสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนศีลธรรมแก่สังคมไทย สังคมโลกต่อไป

ด้าน นายเฉลิมศักดิ์  สุรนันท์   ผู้อำนวยการ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ กล่าวว่า ถือเป็นโครงการดีที่ทางการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ ยินดีให้การสนับสนุนอย่างเต็มที่ เราไม่ได้มองว่าจังหวัดเชียงใหม่เป็นเพียงสถานพักผ่อนหย่อนใจทางธรรมชาติทั่วไปเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ ศึกษาวัฒนธรรม และประเพณีมากมาย ถือเป็นการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ทีให้สาระ และความรู้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบที่มีเอกลักษณ์ท้องถิ่นเฉพาะตัว การจัดโครงการนี้จะช่วยเสริมสร้างภาพลักษณ์การท่องเที่ยวของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ให้ดูงดงาม และมีคุณค่าเชิงสร้างสรรค์ต่อการพัฒนาระดับจิตใจ และทาง ททท. เชียงใหม่จะช่วยดำเนินการประชาสัมพันธ์ไปยังกลุ่มเป้าหมายทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย และต่างชาติให้มากที่สุด

นายศุภมิตร กิจจาพิพัฒน์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ โรงแรมศิริปันนา วิลล่า รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กล่าวปิดท้ายว่า โครงการอบรมจิตตภาวนา ภายใต้ชื่อ “ธุรจิต เพื่อธุรกิจ” จัดขึ้นเพราะเล็งเห็นว่าโครงการนี้จะเอื้อประโยชน์แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการที่มีความตั้งใจในการปฏิบัติธรรมอย่างแท้จริง ทุกวันนี้แม้ว่าเรื่องธรรมะอาจดูเหมือนเรื่องไกลตัว แต่จริงๆ แล้วเป็นเรื่องใกล้ตัวมาก สามารถนำไปสอดแทรกได้กับทุกเรื่องในการใช้ชีวิตประจำวัน หรือแม้แต่เรื่องของหน้าที่การงาน ที่เข้าถึงได้ง่ายหากมีความตั้งใจจริง โดยส่วนตัวศึกษาเรื่องธรรมะมากว่าสิบปีแล้ว และเห็นผลในการนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ได้กับทุกๆ เรื่อง โดยเฉพาะเรื่องของการทำสมาธิ ที่ช่วยให้จิตใจสุขสงบขึ้น มีวิธีคิดที่เป็นระเบียบแบบแผน และมีการพิจารณาไตร่ตรองสิ่งรอบตัวด้วยความระมัดระวัง แท้จริงแล้วเรื่องธรรมะอยู่ควบคู่กับพุทธศาสนิกชนคนไทยทุกคนมายาวนาน อยากให้ผู้ที่สนใจหันมาร่วมปฏิบัติธรรม เพื่อสร้างความสงบสุขแก่จิตใจตนเอง อันจะส่งผลโดยรวมให้สังคมน่าอยู่มากยิ่งขึ้น

กิจกรรมแต่ละช่วงที่มีการปฏิบัติธรรม จะมีการใช้พื้นที่หลายโซนสำหรับการนั่งสมาธิ วิปัสสนา เดินจงกรม ฯลฯ อาทิ บริเวณเฮือนศิลป์สล่า หรือเรือนไทยภาคเหนือด้านหลัง, บริวเณสนามหญ้าหน้าเรือนไทยที่สามารถเดินจงกรมได้อย่างแนบชิดกับธรรมชาติเลยทีเดียว หรือตรงบริเวณใต้ต้นโพธิ์โบราณที่เงียบสงบร่มเย็น ยังมีกิจกรรมปลีกย่อยที่น่าสนใจอีกมากมาย อาทิ การเจิง เป็นการออกกำลังกายเพื่อสุขภาพซึ่งเป็นการสอดแทรกภูมิปัญญาของภาคเหนือ โดยใช้ท่วงท่าการต่อสู้แบบโบราณอย่างมีเอกลักษณ์มาประยุกต์เป็นท่าสำหรับการออกกำลังกาย, กิจกรรมไหว้พระ ๙ วัด, การตักบาตรริมทุ่งนา ฯลฯ โครงการนี้จะจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกเดือนๆ ละ ๑ ครั้งทุกวันศุกร์ถึงวันอาทิตย์ สำหรับครั้งต่อไปประจำเดือนเดือนกรกฎาคม     จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๘ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๑๐ กรกฎาคม, เดือนสิงหาคม จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๕ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๗ สิงหาคม, เดือนกันยายน จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๙ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๑๑ กันยายน และเดือนตุลาคม จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๗ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๙ ตุลาคม ศกนี้ ซึ่งในแต่ละครั้งจะรับผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมโครงการไม่เกิน 30 คน
