‘From Lanna to Bodh Gaya #2’
His Excellency Admiral Chumpol Pachusanon, Privy Councillor and Committee of Phra Dabos Foundation, presided at the opening ceremony of ‘From Lanna to Bodh Gaya #2’, a charity art auction to raise funds for the renowned Mahabodhi Mahavihara temple, located in the center of Bodh Gaya, Bihar, India. The money will go toward a particularly special project, covering the spire (Royal Umbrella) of the temple with gold. The charity art auction is a collaboration between Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai, led by owner and Managing Director, Mr. Supamit Kitjapipat, and Lanna artists led by Mr. Pornchai Jaima, winner of the 2005 Silapathorn Award.

The Christmas Tree of Merit
at Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai, Thailand – Siripanna Villa Resort & Spa, Chiang Mai celebrates Christmas and New Year with the self-created Lanna Christmas Tree of Merit, decorated with the traditional Lanna ‘Tung’, which literally means ‘flag’ in Northern Thai. The Tung is a symbol of prosperity intended for use in religious ceremonies.
To participate in the festive decoration of the Lanna Christmas Tree of Merit, Siripanna invites all guests to donate money by displaying it on the Tung. All the money on the Christmas Tree of Merit will go towards the reconstruction project of Sao Inthakin Sanctuary at Wat Chedi Luang.
Sao Inthakin is the name of the city pillar of Chiang Mai. The pillar was built when the founder of Chiang Mai, King Mengrai, ruled the city from 1296. Located in front of Wat Chedi Luang and enshrined in a small Thai chapel, the pillar is made of logs and kept underground.

Dear our guests,
From flooding situation in Chiang Mai last week, The situation has returned to normal. The depression moving to Thailand has already weakened. For precautionary measure, the local government has placed sand bags along the river banks of Chiang Mai-Lampoon Rd. starting from Rimping Navarat bridge to Wawee café. This will prevention of overflow from Ping river to city centre.
Siripanna hotel has not got any impact from the flood this time. Since our place is locate in a place where its level is higher from the street about 1.20 meter. Therefore, we can now be service in every departments, receiving, sending guests between hotels, airport. The staff is still in place to closely monitor the situation for precautionary measure.

จากสถานการณ์น้ำท่วมเชียงใหม่ในสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมาถือว่าเหตุการณ์เข้าสู่ภาวะปกติแล้ว ส่วนพายุที่กำลังเคลื่อนตัวเข้าสู่ประเทศไทยในขณะนี้ แม้จะอ่อนกำลังลง แต่เพื่อความไม่ประมาท ทางจังหวัดเชียงใหม่จึงได้จัดวางกระสอบทรายไว้ตามแนวริมน้ำปิงบริเวณถนนสายเชียงใหม่ - ลำพูน เริ่มตั้งแต่หน้าริมปิง สะพานนวรัฐ ไปจนถึงร้านกาแฟวาวี ที่ติดกับริมน้ำปิง ซึ่งจะสามารถป้องกันแม่น้ำปิงล้นฝั่งเข้ามาท่วมเมืองได้เกือบ 100 เปอร์เซ็นต์

๑๕ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๔ - อาคารธรรมสถานเฉลิมพระเกียรติ รัชกาลที่ ๙ วัดพระราม ๙ / วัดพระราม ๙ กาญจนาภิเษก เปิดตัวโครงการอบรมจิตตภาวนา “ธุรจิต เพื่อธุรกิจ” ร่วมกับ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ และโรงแรมศิริปันนา วิลล่า รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ หวังกระตุ้นกลุ่มผู้บริหารนำหลักธรรมมาปฏิบัติใช้ในชีวิตประจำวัน หน้าที่การงาน พัฒนาตัวเอง และองค์กร สู่จิตใจที่บริสุทธิ์
พระราชญาณกวี ผู้ช่วยเจ้าอาวาส วัดพระราม ๙ กาญจนาภิเษก กล่าวว่า จากปัจจุบันนี้ที่ผู้บริหารทั้งภาครัฐ และภาคเอกชนในหน่วยงานต่างๆ หรือบุคคลทั่วไปมักเผชิญกับปัญหาในระดับต่างๆ จากสภาวะปัจจัยที่รุมเร้าในแต่ละวันมากบ้างน้อยบ้างที่จำเป็นต้องแก้ไขในแต่ละวัน หากไม่รู้จักดำเนินการแก้ไขอย่างถูกวิธี อาจก่อให้เกิดความตึงเครียดในการทำงาน ซึ่งจะส่งผลร้ายต่อสุขภาพทั้งร่างกายและจิตใจในระยะยาว แต่หากได้รับการอบรมด้านสมาธิ หรือมีการปฏิบัติธรรมอยู่เป็นประจำ จะส่งผลให้มีการแก้ไขปัญหาอย่างถูกวิธี พร้อมที่จะสร้างความมั่นคง เจริญรุ่งเรือง และนำมาซึ่งความสงบสุขร่มเย็นให้แก่ตนเอง องค์กร และสังคมโดยรวมได้อย่างแท้จริง ดังนั้นโครงการอบรมจิตตภาวนา ภายใต้ชื่อ “ธุรจิต เพื่อธุรกิจ” จึงเกิดขึ้นเพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้บริหาร และผู้สนใจทั่วไปได้มีโอกาสพักกายใจ ทำบุญ นั่งสมาธิ ท่ามกลางบรรยากาศที่เงียบสงบ สะดวกสบาย เป็นธรรมชาติ ตลอดจนได้แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ในเชิงธรรมะร่วมกัน เพื่อเป็นแรงสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนศีลธรรมแก่สังคมไทย สังคมโลกต่อไป
ด้าน นายเฉลิมศักดิ์ สุรนันท์ ผู้อำนวยการ การท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ กล่าวว่า ถือเป็นโครงการดีที่ทางการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานเชียงใหม่ ยินดีให้การสนับสนุนอย่างเต็มที่ เราไม่ได้มองว่าจังหวัดเชียงใหม่เป็นเพียงสถานพักผ่อนหย่อนใจทางธรรมชาติทั่วไปเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ ศึกษาวัฒนธรรม และประเพณีมากมาย ถือเป็นการท่องเที่ยวเชิงวัฒนธรรม ทีให้สาระ และความรู้อย่างสมบูรณ์แบบที่มีเอกลักษณ์ท้องถิ่นเฉพาะตัว การจัดโครงการนี้จะช่วยเสริมสร้างภาพลักษณ์การท่องเที่ยวของจังหวัดเชียงใหม่ให้ดูงดงาม และมีคุณค่าเชิงสร้างสรรค์ต่อการพัฒนาระดับจิตใจ และทาง ททท. เชียงใหม่จะช่วยดำเนินการประชาสัมพันธ์ไปยังกลุ่มเป้าหมายทั้งนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย และต่างชาติให้มากที่สุด
นายศุภมิตร กิจจาพิพัฒน์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ โรงแรมศิริปันนา วิลล่า รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กล่าวปิดท้ายว่า โครงการอบรมจิตตภาวนา ภายใต้ชื่อ “ธุรจิต เพื่อธุรกิจ” จัดขึ้นเพราะเล็งเห็นว่าโครงการนี้จะเอื้อประโยชน์แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการที่มีความตั้งใจในการปฏิบัติธรรมอย่างแท้จริง ทุกวันนี้แม้ว่าเรื่องธรรมะอาจดูเหมือนเรื่องไกลตัว แต่จริงๆ แล้วเป็นเรื่องใกล้ตัวมาก สามารถนำไปสอดแทรกได้กับทุกเรื่องในการใช้ชีวิตประจำวัน หรือแม้แต่เรื่องของหน้าที่การงาน ที่เข้าถึงได้ง่ายหากมีความตั้งใจจริง โดยส่วนตัวศึกษาเรื่องธรรมะมากว่าสิบปีแล้ว และเห็นผลในการนำมาประยุกต์ใช้ได้กับทุกๆ เรื่อง โดยเฉพาะเรื่องของการทำสมาธิ ที่ช่วยให้จิตใจสุขสงบขึ้น มีวิธีคิดที่เป็นระเบียบแบบแผน และมีการพิจารณาไตร่ตรองสิ่งรอบตัวด้วยความระมัดระวัง แท้จริงแล้วเรื่องธรรมะอยู่ควบคู่กับพุทธศาสนิกชนคนไทยทุกคนมายาวนาน อยากให้ผู้ที่สนใจหันมาร่วมปฏิบัติธรรม เพื่อสร้างความสงบสุขแก่จิตใจตนเอง อันจะส่งผลโดยรวมให้สังคมน่าอยู่มากยิ่งขึ้น
กิจกรรมแต่ละช่วงที่มีการปฏิบัติธรรม จะมีการใช้พื้นที่หลายโซนสำหรับการนั่งสมาธิ วิปัสสนา เดินจงกรม ฯลฯ อาทิ บริเวณเฮือนศิลป์สล่า หรือเรือนไทยภาคเหนือด้านหลัง, บริวเณสนามหญ้าหน้าเรือนไทยที่สามารถเดินจงกรมได้อย่างแนบชิดกับธรรมชาติเลยทีเดียว หรือตรงบริเวณใต้ต้นโพธิ์โบราณที่เงียบสงบร่มเย็น ยังมีกิจกรรมปลีกย่อยที่น่าสนใจอีกมากมาย อาทิ การเจิง เป็นการออกกำลังกายเพื่อสุขภาพซึ่งเป็นการสอดแทรกภูมิปัญญาของภาคเหนือ โดยใช้ท่วงท่าการต่อสู้แบบโบราณอย่างมีเอกลักษณ์มาประยุกต์เป็นท่าสำหรับการออกกำลังกาย, กิจกรรมไหว้พระ ๙ วัด, การตักบาตรริมทุ่งนา ฯลฯ โครงการนี้จะจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกเดือนๆ ละ ๑ ครั้งทุกวันศุกร์ถึงวันอาทิตย์ สำหรับครั้งต่อไปประจำเดือนเดือนกรกฎาคม จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๘ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๑๐ กรกฎาคม, เดือนสิงหาคม จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๕ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๗ สิงหาคม, เดือนกันยายน จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๙ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๑๑ กันยายน และเดือนตุลาคม จะจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันศุกร์ที่ ๗ – วันอาทิตย์ที่ ๙ ตุลาคม ศกนี้ ซึ่งในแต่ละครั้งจะรับผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมโครงการไม่เกิน 30 คน
นิทรรศการงานศิลปะ “จื้นต๋า จื้นใจ๋” 29 เมษายน 2554
ถ้า “ภาพเขียน” เปรียบเสมือนการบอกเล่าเรื่องราว หรือการขมวดเอาจินตนาการมาปลดปล่อยผ่านปลายพู่กัน แล้วแต่งแต้มสีสันให้ออกมาในโลกของผู้วาดอย่างไร ศิริปันนาแกลเลอรีก็คงจะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการนำเสนอเรื่องราวของ “ความสุข” จากการได้มองเห็น ชื่นชมกับเรื่องราวดีๆ อย่างที่โรงแรมศิริปันนาได้เผยแพร่ให้ใครๆ ได้เข้ามาสัมผัสอย่างสม่ำเสมอ
การได้มีโอกาสมอบความสุขผ่าน “นิทรรศการงานศิลปะ” นับว่าเป็นการเชื่อมโยงเรื่องราวจิตวิญญาณระหว่างศิลปิน และคนดูให้อยู่ใกล้ชิดกันมากขึ้น การที่คนๆ นึงจะได้มีโอกาสดูผลงานดีๆ ในปัจจุบันนี้ถือว่าไม่ได้หาชมกันง่ายๆ เพราะฉะนั้นการที่ศิริปันนา จัดทำแกลเลอรี่ขึ้นมาก็เพื่อจะได้มีมุมสรรค์สร้างสุขแก่ผู้มาเยี่ยมเยือน
และครั้งนี้ ศิริปันนาแกลอรี ได้มีโอกาสนำเสนอผลงานสุดประทับใจจาก 10 ศิลปินแห่งล้านนา ที่มาร่วมสร้างสรรค์ผลงานจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 30 ชิ้นงาน เต็มเปี่ยมไปด้วยความงดงามในแบบฉบับของล้านนาที่เกี่ยวเนื่องกับวิถีชีวิต วัฒนธรรมประเพณี และคติความเชื่อที่สืบเนื่องมาอย่างช้านาน สิ่งสำคัญสิ่งหนึ่งที่เราคาดว่าผู้ชมจะได้รับหลังการรับชมผลงานจากบรรดาศิลปิน คือเรื่องของ “ความอิ่มตา อิ่มใจ” หรืออย่างในภาษาเหนือที่เรียกว่า “จื้นต๋า จื้นใจ๋” ซึ่งก็เป็นชื่อของการจัดนิทรรศการในครั้งนี้
ความรื่นรมย์สุนทรีย์จะเกิดขึ้นไม่ได้หากปราศจากสภาพแวดล้อมที่ดี ในการดำเนินชีวิตแบบสบายๆ ไม่เร่งรีบ ให้สมองได้คิดทบทวนเรื่องราว และกลั่นกรองแนวความคิด สู่ปลายพู่กันให้ผู้คนได้ชื่นชมกันถ้วนหน้า ศิริปันนาแกลเลอรี จึงพยายามที่จะมีส่วนร่วมในการเก็บรักษาบรรยากาศ วิถีชีวิตความเป็นล้านนาอย่างเป็นระเบียบ ให้สะท้อนความงดงามภายในตัวเองโดยไม่ต้องแต่งเติมให้มากมายนัก และพร้อมที่จะให้คืนสู่สังคมโดยการบริจาคบางส่วนที่ได้จากการจำหน่ายภาพเขียนในครั้งนี้ด้วย
หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าหลังจากที่ทุกท่านได้ชื่นชมผลงานทั้ง 30 ชิ้นงานที่เต็มเปี่ยมไปด้วยคุณภาพระดับมืออาชีพแล้ว จะได้รับความ “จื้นต๋า จื้นใจ๋” กลับบ้านไปดั่งชื่อของนิทรรศการในครั้งนี้

ศิริปันนา วิลล่า รีสอร์ต วิลล่าแห่งแรกและแห่งเดียวในตัวเมืองเชียงใหม่
เปิดตำนาน “เวียงกุมกาม” นครโบราณใต้พิภพที่ถูกค้นพบในปี พ.ศ.2527สู่สถานพักผ่อนอันวิจิตรกลางใจเมือง บนถนนราษฎร์อุทิศ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ สะท้อนแนวคิดการร่วมเดินทางย้อนกาลเวลาสู่อารยธรรมในอดีต ที่ถูกจำลองมาเป็นโรงแรมระดับ 5 ดาว สไตล์ล้านนาประยุกต์ภายใต้ชื่อ“โรงแรมศิริปันนา วิลล่า รีสอร์ต แอนด์ สปา” ใจกลางเชียงใหม่
ทันทีที่ก้าวผ่านธรณีประตูจากเรือนรับรองสู่ภายในเรือนชั้นในของโรงแรม ศิริปันนาให้ความรู้สึกราวกับว่าจะพาเราเดินทางกลับสู่อดีตอันน่าทึ่งอัศจรรย์ และเมื่อแหงนหน้าขึ้นจะเห็นช่องโปร่งบนเพดานที่เรียกว่า “ภูมิจักรวาล” อันแสดงถึงการนำพาความโชคดีแก่แขกผู้มาเยือน และความประทับใจต่อมาคือ การเดินเข้าสู่ห้องพักในส่วนที่เป็นวิลล่า ซึ่งในส่วนนี้เราจะสามารถมองเห็นสระว่ายน้ำทรงสี่เหลี่ยมและเก้าอี้นอนอาบแดดอยู่ตรงกลางซึ่งได้ถูกจำลองมาจากคูเมืองของเชียงใหม่ที่ล้อมรอบตัวเมืองไว้
จะว่าไปแล้วทุกอย่างของที่นี่ล้วนแล้วแต่ถูกสร้างขึ้นมาจากตำนาน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นศิลปะการตกแต่งที่ได้หยิบเอาวิถีชีวิตของชาวล้านนาเดิมมาตกแต่ง อย่าง “มกร”(มะ-กะ-ระ) หรือ เบญจลักษณ์ เป็นสัตว์มงคลตามความเชื่อของชาวล้านนาที่สามารถพบเห็นได้ตามบันได และภายในแต่ละห้องก็ถูกตกแต่งด้วยสถาปัตยกรรมล้านนาที่มีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว ให้ความรู้สึกผ่อนคลายด้วยความโอ่โถงไม่ว่าจะเป็นการนั่งบนตั่งโซฟา หรือสูดโอโซนตรงริมระเบียงรับลม ที่อบอวลไปด้วยกรุ่นกลิ่นพฤกษาและในขณะเดียวกันก็ยังคงอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อมดั้งเดิม เพราะการวางแลนด์สเคปทุกอย่างหลีกเลี่ยงการตัดต้นไม้ เพื่อให้ผู้มาเยือนได้รู้สึกถึงความเป็นธรรมชาติอย่างแท้จริง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นต้นโพธิ์ยักษ์ และบ่อน้ำโบราณอายุกว่า 100 ปี จนแทบไม่น่าเชื่อว่าจะอยู่กลางเมืองเชียงใหม่
ในส่วนของบริการอื่นๆ นั้นที่ศิริปันนา ก็มีบริการด้านร้านอาหารและบาร์ที่ห้องอาหารสลีบันยัน และล้านนาเฮ้าส์ ที่พร้อมจะเสนออาหารและเครื่องดื่มรสเลิศจากเชฟระดับมืออาชีพ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นอาหารนานาชาติหรืออาหารพื้นเมือง
สำหรับเฟส 2 พื้นที่ส่วนที่เหลือทางศิริปันนาจะดำเนินการสร้างเป็นเรือนจัดนิทรรศการแสดงถึงวิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของชาวล้านนา และแปลงพืชผักสวนครัว ตลอดจนผักไฮโดรโพนิคปลอดสารพิษ และยังเตรียมการ “ปันนาสปา” สุดยอดสปา ๙ สัมผัส แห่งแรก และแห่งเดียวในโลก ซึ่งจะเปิดให้บริการราวต้นปีหน้า เมื่อทุกอย่างสมบูรณ์แบบที่นี่คงจะทำให้เราหลงใหลไปกับมนต์เสน่ห์แห่งล้านนาจนยากจะลืมเลือน....
